🧼 Washing & Shrinkage
Expect Some Shrinkage: Your gi isn't pre-shrunk. It may look a bit large at first, but will adjust to the perfect size after 2-3 washes.
Washing Instructions: Wash at a maximum of 40°C. Avoid bleach to protect the fabric's integrity. Dry cleaning is safe.
👕 Drying
Hang Dry Method: Use separate hangers for the top and pants. Dry in the shade to maintain its shape.
Tumble Dry Caution: If using a tumble dryer, stop at 80% dryness to prevent excessive shrinkage. Then, hang it to finish drying.
🩸 Stain Management & Rotation
Quick Action for Stains: Wash immediately after practice if stained, especially with blood, to avoid permanent marks.
Rotation Strategy: Like many of our customers who train frequently, consider rotating multiple gis. This ensures a fresh gi for each session and extends the life of each one.
