BELT MODEL: Which one is right for you?
➡️ F-450 has a broken-in feel and is easy to tie.This is a slim belt with a stiff core. When this belt starts to fray, the white inner core will show.
➡️ F-742 feels hard and sturdy around the waist. This is a standard thickness belt with a stiff core. When this belt starts to fray, the black inner core will show. ➡️ F-700 is the thickest and hardest of all our belts so it takes longer to "break" than other belts. When this belt starts to fray, the white inner core will show.
🧵 CUSTOM EMBROIDERY
Personalize your new karate black belt with beautiful embroideries in English and in Japanese. There are six fonts to choose from and 10 different colors. We reserve about 8in 20cm of each belt end for embroideries. Long text will be resized to fit within that space.
INTEGRATED EMBROIDERY
Our Isami Karate Black Belts feature integrated embroideries.This is the most premium method of embroidery and also the most resistant.We embroider the fabric first and then we make the belt. There will be no trail on the reverse side, but the belt stitch lines will be over the embroidery. The final product is unique and stunning!
📏 BELT WIDTH: 42mm, 45mm, 50mm
Now you can choose how wide your Isami Karate Black Belt should be.The standard belt width is 42mm (1.65in) but we also make wider variations that are 45mm (1.80in) and 50mm (2.00in). They are especially popular with bigger fighters/instructors who need a belt that will match their large frame.
🚿 BELT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
In Japan it is uncommon to wash the obi martial arts belt. However many of our international customers like to wash their belts. We recommend hand washing (with hand soap) and hang drying in the shade.
Please note that regular washing will accelerate the belt's aging process and might cause it to shrink further than estimated. It will still be functional and last for many years though.

Your new Isami Black Belt will shrink naturally due to humidity and sweat. That's why we say in Japan that "the fabric is alive". Below you'll find our estimated shrinkage rates for each model. Please take this in consideration when selecting your optimal belt size...
